Job Description Indigo Aircraft Mechanic Jobs

• Assembling and disassembling various components of the aircraft during repair and maintenance.
• Inspect the aircraft for any component defects, break-outs, fluid leaks, etc.
• Test aircraft operations to identify malfunctions.
• Perform maintenance, disassembly, repair, rework, re-assembly, replacement, or adjustment of various aircraft components.
• Oil change, battery service, hydraulic system service, and other airline services.
• Adjust, align, and calibrate the aircraft using hand tools, gauges, and more.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Ensure compliance with FAA and company standards.
• Regular maintenance and cleaning of aircraft interiors and exteriors.
• Report the component repair to the manager and the chief mechanic.
• Inspect aircraft engines for cracks and leaks.
• Operate support equipment used in the removal and installation of key aircraft components.
• Solve complex technical problems and troubleshoot abnormal repairs.
