Job Role of Emirates Bartending Staff
- Meet and greet guests, take drink orders directly from guests or restaurant servers, prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and other bar drinks as ordered, and comply with beverage standards.
- Whenever necessary, check guest ID to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption to ensure full compliance with Qatar legal requirements.
- Prepare the designated bar area, ensuring that this bar is fully equipped with tools and ingredients for preparing drinks.
- Assist in preparing weekly/monthly inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish stock to support operational requirements.
- Serve drinks, snacks, or food items to guests seated in the bar area, ensuring all orders are served as guest requests and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Assist in the development of beverage menu, propose new beverage recipes to supervisor/line manager keeping in mind customer needs and drink preference to drive sales opportunity.
- Maintain a clean work area by cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning the workspace as necessary according to sanitary standards.
- Maintained stock bars and proper inventory, liquor, and supplies as needed and attended month-end inventory as needed.
- Place orders tailored to business demands/menus, liaise with procurement team/store to ensure range and stock levels to support bar operation.
