Requirement Criteria of Qatar Airways Cargo Staff

Qatar Airways Ground Staff Job Responsibilities

• Liaising with local ground handling agents and head office cargo departments to ensure/enhance the high-quality service provided by QR for both import and export.
• Support import customers for clearance of their goods, liaise with customs officials to facilitate smooth and timely import clearance, and liaison with Headquarters DOH and/or parent stations for necessary assistance.
• Allows planned flights with maximum utilization of the flight capacity, control, and operation of export & import.
• Maintain close coordination between QR space controls to ensure that their shipments are moved and delivered on time, for the correct priority given to shipments and for the maximum use of space on the aircraft.
• Coordination with the supervisor of cargo claims in the head office, dealing with discrepancies at the stations, and all administrative issues related to the stations.
• You should strictly control and administer utility stock and cargo stationery in coordination with GHA
• To update customers about the rules of customs, government, and health authorities,s and to disseminate all cargo-related information to comply with the rules and avoid penalties, destruction, etc.
• Ensure that cargoes are officially sent to the freight notice/agent upon arrival, to ensure that the cargo does not remain in the airline’s custody for long, and to avoid damage and availability of space in the warehouse, To maximize.
• Preparation of system accounting updates is included on every flight departure weekly, monthly service report, or whenever deemed necessary.
• Will be required to commit to shifting duty as a cargo officer.
