Eligibility Criteria for Cabin Crew Recruitment
- Age Limit (As of 01.09.2019) for
- General/EWS – between 18 and 35 years
- OBC – between 18 and 38 years
- SC/ST – between 18 and 40 years
- Ex-SM – As per Government Guidelines
- Educational Qualification – Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management from a recognized/reputed University/ Institution
- Experience – Minimum 5 years Post Qualification experience in Hotel Management/Hospitality Services/Airlines Business/Similar experiences. Preference would be given to Personnel from the Airline or Hotel Industry.
- OR
- For Senior Level Position: Minimum 15 years of aviation experience with adequate Experience in cabin cleaning (Aviation) at a Senior level position (Cabin Supervisor / Cabin Manager).
- Language Proficiency – Should have proficiency in English and Hindi.
- Height – not below 158 cm. for Males and 152.5 cm. for Female Candidates (Relaxation in the height of 2.5 cms. to SC/ST and belonging from North-East Region Candidates)

Job Descriptions of a Cabin Crew
- Check safety equipment for availability and functionality.
- Conduct safety demonstrations for guests before take-off.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety procedures throughout the flight.
- Managing emergencies such as performing first aid and emergency evacuations Inflight service duties.
- Pre-boarding tasks such as checks on the availability of required food and beverage as well as inflight amenity items.
- Boarding of guests, welcoming and directing them to seats, aiding with storage of carry-on luggage.
- Conducting Inflight sales and service.
- Ensuring that aircraft cabins and toilets are clean and replenished during flights.
- Making announcements and responding to guest queries during the flight.
- Ensure orderly disembarkation of guests after landing.
- Attending mandatory pre-flight briefings.
