Hello everyone here is Aviation Dreamer. Here you will get information about the aviation industry like Aviation Jobs, Airlines News, and Interview Tips and also get more information about their industry. So, in today’s article, I am gonna write on the topic of Jet Fuel. or it’s like Why aviation fuel price is less expensive than petrol?
What is Jet fuel
Jet Fuel, Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF), or Evur, is a type of aviation fuel, designed for use in planes powered by a gas-turbine engine. It is colorless in color to look straw. The most widely used fuel jet-A and Jet A-1 for commercial aviation are manufactured for a standardized international specification. The only other jet fuel jet used in civil turbine-engine powered aviation is Jet B, which is used to showcase its increased cold weather. For more information click here.
Why it’s cheaper than Care Petrol –
A basic cause is the volume output of paraffin oils compared to gasoline fuel. Many products are manufactured from refining crude, in which gas, naphtha, heavy oils, and residues make gasoline, gas oils, paraffin oil, etc. apart from a large portion to refined fuel.
Of these, kerosene is heavier than gasoline and therefore takes less energy to lighten it and produces more quantity than lighter. Jet engines are engineered to take advantage of these fuels so that turbine engines can be used to burn them better than car engines, which use the IC engine to burn gasoline in which resistance of ignition is reduced.
- Aviation fuel – This refers to the fuel used in the reuse of aircraft engines, whose thrust is generated using the propeller or air screw. It is very close to petrol/petrol.
- ATF or Jet Fuel – This type of fuel is used in jet engines turbines and is very close to kerosene or naphtha. Hence the cost is low, reflecting their ‘low refinement’ compared to petrol.
