So, check out the below 6 steps that I have mentioned clearing the Air Asia cabin crew interview –

1. Height check.
2. Document check.
3. Catwalk, Scar-Tatoo check, Self  Introduction.
4. English Test.
5. Group activity.
6. Interview – 2 to 1.

Now I will discuss all the steps 1 by 1 and also, and I will mention when they are expected of you and what you have to improve yourself. So carefully check this point because Air Asia is very serious about selecting or choosing every staff. Check out the below option –

1. HEIGHT CHECK

The height required for Air Asia cabin crew is a minimum of (Female) 157cm and the max will be 170cm. If your height doesn’t meet their requirements immediately they will reject you on the spot. So before attending the interview, you should check out your exact height. If it’s below 175 cm should not attend the interview.

2. DOCUMENT CHECK

First of all, you need to ensure that if you use your SPM Cert, CREDIT in ENGLISH is compulsory, PASS in BAHASA MALAYSIA, and at least ONE other credit for any subject.  Some of the candidates were rejected because they didn’t know about this. and also depends on the location you apply.

So here is the Documents you need to carry for attending the interview of Air Asia cabin crew

i ) Application form (You can print it out from the AirAsia career website or you can get it during the interview.
ii ) Original and Photocopy of SPM Certificate or any Higher Education certificate.
iii ) Recent UPDATED Resume. (nice professional looks)
iv ) Original and Copy of your IC.
v ) 1 copy of the latest passport-size photo. (with white background)
vi ) 1 copy of the latest full-body postcard-size photo with a white background.

After submitting all the documents they will check out all the documents and you will be given a number and wait for them to call you. for the next round or next step.

3. Catwalk, Scar-Tatoo check, Self  Introduction:

CATWALK – in the third step they will ask you to do a simple catwalk while walking towards them.

SCAR/TATTOO check – The airline specialist will check for any scars or tattoos on your face, neck area, hands, and legs that won’t be visible while wearing the AIR ASIA uniform.

SELF INTRODUCTION – A simple introduction of yourself during which, they will observe your body language, your behavior, and how you present yourself in a short period.

After completing this three-step you have to wait for a few minutes for them to inform you whether you FAIL or PASS to proceed to the next step.

4. ENGLISH TEST

After completing the third round you will be asked to sit for 15 minutes for your English Test. Consist of 25 objective questions, once you pass the third stage. Although it’s a simple round it depends on you. they will just give some basic grammar tests. So my advice is that the questions can be a little tricky so please read them carefully and then answer the question.

Again, if you’ve passed the test and then, they will give you the JOB APPLICATION form for you to fill up all your important details and submit it to them. And you will continue to the next stage.

5. GROUP ACTIVITY
Then the interviewer will be divided into groups and will be asked to perform. Otherwise, they can tell you to do whatever you want such as dancing, acting, singing, etc. One of the interviewers told us that this stage is basically to observe how you work in a group to make it simple yet presentable and fun.

6. 2 to 1 INTERVIEW
Congratulations on completing all the rounds of interviews, Now it’s your last round. So, before they call your number, make sure to touch up your makeup and hair were perfect.

They will call you with 3 or more other candidates and you will be sitting only a few chairs from each other in the same room but he/she will be interviewed by two different people.
My question was more about my background, what I’m doing currently, and why I wanted to join AA. They will ask you if you have any question(s) to ask them so just ask away but don’t drag them too long.

They will let you know that it’ll take 2 to 3 weeks for you to get an email if you succeed or not.

Once you receive the email, you will be asked to go through a HEALTH CHECK with a fixed Venue and Time. So, check your email regularly including your SPAM mailbox!
