To my knowledge in 2024, the starting salary for a first officer at Southwest Airlines was $70,000 to $80,000 per year. However, the exact salary depends on various factors such as the type of aircraft, the number of flight hours, and the experience level of the first officer.

It’s also important to remember that a first officer’s salary at Southwest Airlines or any other airline is only one component of overall compensation. Many airlines offer additional benefits to their employees such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and travel benefits.

Note that this information is based on my knowledge in 2024 and the airline industry and compensation practices may change over time.
